Asher - 10 months

This baby. He is just so cute.

Asher had his 9 month appointment about halfway through month 10. He weighed 18.0lb and was 27" long. He's wearing 12 or 12-18m clothes, size 3-4 shoes, and size 3 diapers.

Asher is a baby on the move. While he can crawl, he mostly still scoots around on his belly. People remark all the time on how fast he is.  He hasn't started standing without support yet, but he seems close. His nurse practitioner predicted he'll be walking before his birthday. It wouldn't surprise me, but I'm in no rush for my baby to become a toddler either. We'll see!

This was a big month for teething. He got the top 4 incisors: left central, left lateral, right central, and right lateral, all in a row. As a result, our happy guy has been a little crankier this past month. He's also been a bit sick - these pictures were delayed a few days due to some sort of mild virus.

We traveled to Kansas City at the beginning of January to see family. Asher did surprisingly well on the long road trips - lots of sleeping, thankfully. We stopped midway through both drives at a children's play space in Springfield, IL called Ergadoozy to let the boys get some wiggles out.

Not much else has changed since last month - no new words or sounds I've noticed. Daytime sleep is getting a bit more erratic as he seems to be moving toward 1 nap a day rather than 2. Still a pretty easygoing little fellow.
