Thanksgiving

Ross got a week-long Thanksgiving break from classes, so we decided to spend a while with his family. We flew out to Detroit on a Sunday night, his parents picked us up and drove us to their small Ohio town (a 1.5 hour drive) the next morning, and we spent a few days there before heading to another small town in Indiana to meet up with the whole extended family for Thanksgiving.

When Ross and I got married, we decided that - barring unusual circumstances such as bringing a baby home from the hospital the day before Thanksgiving, like we did last year - we'd spend Thanksgivings with his family and New Years with mine. Christmas is reserved just for us. So that's why there's a Christmas tree in the first picture in a post about Thanksgiving.

We did our Christmas gift exchange at Ross's sister's house. Ezra had fun playing with his cousins, and Ross helped our nephew put his Lego fire truck from us together immediately after he opened it.

Here we are ready to eat all day long:

This is so much fun!

  1. Are Ezra's eyes really that blue (pic on the stairs)?!

  2. They are! He apparently got all the recessive genes.
