Zoo Lights

After a few weeks of abnormally cold temperatures, we were happy last week when the highs were in the 50s and 60s. We took advantage of unseasonably warm weather to check out Zoo Lights at the Denver Zoo on Thursday night. We went with our friend Laura. Lots of other people went too, but once we got past the entrance, it wasn't overcrowded.

Ezra LOVES lights, so we were correct in guessing that he'd love Zoo Lights. His bedtime is about 6:30, and we didn't get into the zoo until 6, so we were a little worried that he'd have a meltdown. Fortunately, he was enthralled by all the lights and loved being there. He did get sleepy, but kept those little eyes open to see all the Christmas lights. He saved the meltdown for the car on the way home.

The giraffes were awake and ready for visitors. Ezra loved them.
