Clothing size: 6-9 months fits best. Can still fit in 6m, but 9m is better (especially for onesies). Some 6-12 fits.

Asher is inching his way into mobility… yikes! Every day, he seems to be getting more and more mobile. Time to make sure everything is babyproofed! He loves to explore his world, and is very interested in grass when he's outside and Ezra's toys when he's inside - especially Duplo truck bases and wooden train tracks.

Diaper changes have become a challenge sometimes, as Asher wants to be on his tummy exploring as much as possible and will try to flip. Often, he will engage with some smiling and conversation or holding a toy, but not always! He especially loves the crinkly wipes container. (I looked back at Ezra's 5 month adjusted update, and he loved it at this age too! It *is* pretty great.) Asher is our little nudist and loves to stay naked if we leave his diaper off.

Over the last month, Asher has increased a lot in trunk control - he goes into "superman" pose a lot, and I am starting to hold him on my hip sometimes, so I imagine he could sit with assistance if we tried it. He pushes up on straight elbows, and I've even seen him go up onto his knees.

We are experiencing the four month sleep regression. We moved across the country this past month, so Asher's lovely schedule was disrupted significantly, and he wakes up to nurse several times a night again. Oh well.

Asher's name means "happy" and it truly fits him - he is just the smiliest, chillest little baby. He rarely cries, but he does make baby dinosaur screeches with increasing frequency and intensity when he wants to nurse or cuddle. I frequently wear him when we are out and about, and he is always grinning at people and getting complimented on his smile. He makes a lot of friends! He laughs sometimes - which is totally adorable - but mostly just smiles all the time.
